Title: Exploded Views
This installation done by Jim Campbell was really interesting to me by the way it works. The installation had 2000+ led lightbulbs that exploded images into three dimensional objects. It's pretty cool how the computer controlled led lightbulbs can capture shadow-like images of objects moving under it. It also amazes me how far technology has gone to achieve something like this is pretty awesome.
agreed! but it is pretty simple technology in a way. his second job most of his life was working in silicon valley working in different electronic industries....so he knows his stuff
ReplyDeleteTechnology is scary! That is awesome he used a bunch of lights to make this image, you are right, very cool. Who would've thought 80 years ago that someone would be looking at an image made out of lights on a thing called the internet! Jim Campbell soup.
